  • Tyre Pressure Monitors    PressurePro™ is the finest Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) on the market today. Reliable, durable, accurate, simple to install and easy to use, PressurePro represents a leap forward in TPMS technology. Checking tyre pressure is crucial for vehicles to run economically and safely and help preserve a tyre’s life. Under inflated tyres can be dangerous, whereas if over inflated they have to work harder to deal with greater resistance. No tools are necessary to install PressurePro and the system is simple to operate. A wireless, tyre air pressure sensor (cap) simply screws onto the valve stem replacing the dust cap. The Monitor is powered by plugging it into the cigarette lighter accessory in the vehicle or can be hard wired. It displays current tyre pressure as well as alerting to low tyre pressures with both a visual and audible warning. The sensors constantly read the tyre pressure and transmit the pressure reading to the monitor. When a low or high-pressure condition is sensed, the monitor displays the tyre location with a flashing light and sounds an audible alarm.

  • Winter tyres - The AA View   There are currently no plans to introduce legislation requiring winter or all-season tyres here as prolonged periods of sub-zero temperatures and roads covered in compacted snow are very rare due to our climate and policy of gritting and ploughing to clear snow when it does fall. It also seems to be the case that with snow being relatively rare many of us choose to work at home for a day or otherwise change plans rather than venture out when it does fall. So for most of us normal, 'summer' tyres continue to be a satisfactory choice for use all year round. If you live in a more isolated or hilly region then 'all-season' tyres are worth considering though.
